The Irish Review 49-50 is a special double issue on the life, work and legacy of Seamus Heaney. Included are poets Ciaran Carson, Sinéad Morrissey, Paul Durcan, Michael Longley, Nick Laird, Alan Gillis, Medbh McGuckian and Leontia Flynn. Other contributions are from Neil Corcoran, Angela Leighton, Jahan Ramazani, Rosie Lavan, Peter McDonald, Connal Parr, Catriona Clutterbuck, John Wilson Foster, Rui Carvalho Homem, Patricia Craig, Nicholas Allen, Anne Devlin and Hugh Haughton.
The issue is launched on 12th February at 8pm in the McMordie Hall, Music Building, QUB.
This is, of course, also a significant occasion for The Irish Review, having reached issue 50. The special Seamus Heaney issue will be launched by Professor Edna Longley, one of the founding editors of The Irish Review.
