Patrick Hogan’s ‘Still’ is currently on show at the Gallery of Photography.
Accompanying the exhibition is the book Still with an essay by Colin Graham and a poem by Dermot Healy.
It’s compelling and beautiful work by a perceptive and talented young photographer.
“‘Still’ … perceives moments at which the sense of being is formed through the act of seeing, and it knows and accepts that these moments will appear incoherent, even broken’ (from the essay in Still).
