I was delighted to be able to participate in the launch of Niamh Ann Kelly’s brilliant new book Imaging the Great Irish Famine: Representing Dispossession in Visual Culture (I.B. Tauris). The launch was held at IMMA on 24th August and Niamh Ann spoke very eloquently on the book, its origins and the research she has done.
