I’m delighted to be one of the judges of this year’s Irish Times Poetry Now Award, along with Lia Mills and Gerard Smyth. The shortlist of five books was announced last week:

- Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin, The Boys of Bluehill (Gallery)
- Doireann Ní Ghríofa, Clasp (Dedalus)
- Caitríona O’Reilly,Geis (Bloodaxe)
The winner will be announced in The Irish Times on 12 March.
