‘The Composites’ opens at Illuminations on 28th January. Brian Joseph Davis’ images are made by taking descriptions of literary characters and putting them through police identikit software. The results are strange, amusing and startling. The exhibition features a wide range of Brian’s Composites, including two images of Dorian Gray specially commissioned by Illuminations. The exhibition is curated by Colin Graham. Above is a Composite of the appropriately criminal Moriarty.
