Viewpoints: Theoretical Perspectives on Irish Visual Culture is a collection of essays which looks at Irish visual culture through the changes which have transformed the island in the past twenty years or so. It asks the questions: What kind of iconic currencies does Ireland have? How should we see them? Are there specific ideological frameworks operating when we imagine Ireland? Can we imagine Irishness differently?
Viewpoints is edited by Claire Bracken and Emma Radley and will be published by Cork University Press on 1st October. More details here.
